I've emailed iTunes about this and they've issued me a refund. Reading the 1 star reviews on these games proves this. They've never gone back and made the other games they've done this to direct purchase again (and I highly doubt the Gardenscapes Premium game will go back to a direct purchase either). I did some digging and it turns out that Playrix does this with pretty much all of their direct buy games. I email Playrix and they basically tell me to wait until they make the game paid again and reinstall it. Well, I'm not paying again for the game, I already paid for it in September. This means that unless I pay another $2.99 I can't play the game anymore.

I finally got my iPad a few weeks ago and I go to install Gardenscapes Premium on it only to find out that Playrix has made the premium version free to install and added an IAP to unlock the full version. I played the game for a few weeks, but my iPhone screen was too small so I decided to wait until I got my iPad to play it again. There was/is also a free to install version of this game with an IAP to unlock the full game (also $2.99) but I preferred the direct, non IAP version. This was a direct purchase of $2.99, not an in-app purchase. Let me explain what happened to me, as well as many others who've purchased games by this developer.Р”В«ack in September, I purchased a Playrix game called Gardenscapes Premium for $2.99 on my iPhone.
